In about two and a half weeks, on November 2, we’ll be throwing our very first Buffet party, in collaboration with Resident and Island Creek Oysters and celebrating the release of Picador’s new editions of MFK Fisher’s The Art of Eating.
But you knew that—we told you on Tuesday. Now tickets are available to purchase here. Ticket price is inclusive of wine, cocktails, snacks, oysters, and readings from Alison Roman, Helen Rosner, a Buffet editor or two, and more special guests to be announced. Copies of Picador’s new editions will be for sale, including How to Cook a Wolf, An Alphabet for Gourmets, The Gastronomical Me, Serve It Forth, and Consider the Oyster, with new introductions by Tamar Adler, Ruby Tandoh, Alison Roman, Bryan Washington, and Anne Fadiman, respectively.
